A History of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church Introduction: ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY YEARS ago our church was founded by a group of foresighted men and women who recognized the need for a separate Lutheran identity in the community of Dallastown. This church was named Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church of the General Synod.

A Ministry of the Dallastown Area Community

Angel Food Ministries here at Christ Lutheran Church is a non-denominational, non-profit organization dedicated to providing high quality food for half the price of grocery stores. Angel Food’s groceries are sold in a quantity that can fit in a medium-size box at per unit. Each month’s menu is different than the previous month and consists of both fresh and frozen items with an average retail price of approximately 50 to 70 dollars.
